GCNN Membership

The Garden Conservancy Northwest Network (GCNN) is a collective of public and botanic gardens, city parks, horticultural, and cultural organizations across the Pacific Northwest united in preserving and sharing the region's rich garden and landscape heritage.

At the GCNN, we provide resource-sharing, networking opportunities, and professional education for garden leaders, staff, board members, and volunteers. Through targeted workshops and tailored events curated by members, we delve into critical areas like fundraising, board development, garden documentation, tourism, collections management, and crafting mission-driven programming, among other pivotal topics.

Annual dues are $150 per member organization and all membership funds are allocated to support the work and programs and preservation activities organized by the Garden Conservancy in the Pacific Northwest.

Spring Workshop: Designing Docent Programs that Engage and Inspire

Evan Weber brings extensive experience in volunteer management, currently overseeing approximately 400 volunteers at the Museum of Flight, including 140 docents. He previously led docent programs at Denver Botanic Gardens and is passionate about strengthening garden stewardship through public engagement.

A central program of the Garden Conservancy Northwest Network are spring and fall in-person, all-day workshops. Each workshop is tailored to the needs of member organizations and is hosted by a different member organization. Fall and Spring workshops are open to members and non-members.
